I began my journey into the world of Foot Health in 2016. After spending 10 years working for the emergency services, I decided I wanted a career change that worked better around having a young family, but still wanted to be able to help people. I trained at the SMAE institute in Maidenhead and was awarded a Merit for my Diploma in Foot Health. Since qualifying I have gone on to help hundreds of clients with a wide range of foot health problems, and its been very rewarding to assist them in being more comfortable. I have also completed training in nail reconstruction, nail correction, plasma verruca treatments and Lunula Laser.

Liz

Hi I'm Liz, I trained at the SMAE Institute in Maidenhead and qualified as a Foot Health Professional in 2014. Prior to this I worked within Personal banking for 20 years, spending most of that time as a branch manager. I have always been interested in becoming a podiatrist, and found that studying to be a Foot Health Professional was the ideal opportunity to enable me to continue to care for peoples needs. I am pleased to say taking this leap was the best decision I ever made in my working life. I love my job, and its wonderful to hear the positive feedback I regularly receive from my patients following their treatments. Since qualifying I have also completed training in nail reconstruction, nail correction, plasma verruca treatments and Lunula Laser.
