FAQ's

What is LLLT?

LLLT is a form of technology that applies low level lasers to the surface of the body. It aims to relieve pain by stimulating and enhancing cell function.

How does it work?

While the benefits of Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) have been observed in hundreds of medical studies, the exact mechanisms that lead to these results are still being explored. Although we still have a lot to learn about the effects of light energy on different types of cells, the leading theory is that LLLT generates therapeutic effects through stimulating and enhancing specific biochemical processes within cells. Intuitively speaking, laser energy activates a key enzyme in our cells’ powerhouses (mitochondria), boosting energy production and cellular activity. This process enhances cell function, aids in cell repair and growth, and supports overall cellular health, leading to improved healing and regeneration. (Erchonia®)

Is it painful to have LLLT?

No it isn't. Due to the EVRL being a cold laser there is no pain and little to no side effects.

What conditions can you treat with EVRL?

  • Painful conditions (e.g. plantar fasciitis)

  • Acute pain from injuries

  • Neuropathic pain

  • Inflammatory conditions (e.g., tendinitis, bursitis)

  • Joint inflammation

  • Muscle strains and sprains

  • Arthritis

           Plus Skin Conditions:

How long does each treatment take?

A typical Low-Level Laser Therapy treatment lasts between 5 to 20 minutes. The exact length depends on the condition being treated and the specific protocol being followed. For example, treatments for chronic pain might be shorter (around 5-10 minutes per session),

Will I have to sign a consent form?
